Default Cam shaft pulley bolt

Just want to confirm that the crank shaft pully bolt is not a reverse thread bolt? While doing my head gasket, I am also going to replace the timing belt. Started to try and get the pulley off tonight but it was a fight. I have the holder (I rented). I am expecting a fight, just want to make sure I am turning it the correct way..

Normal "righty-tighty... lefty-loosey" bolt. NOT reverse thread.

Good luck to you bro! I had to take mine off my 04 ep3 when I did my water pump. I cracked the pulley and bent a craftsman ratchet during the process. It finally came off after lots of penetrating oil and air tools. Be patient and take breaks!

It's fun getting that bolt off. I've done it a few times now. I use a breaker bar, cheater pipe, enough extensions to clear the fender, and a jack stand to support it all while I put my weight on it.

On these cars i have never encountered a left hand thread. I don't think there is one.
