Tried to have mechanic check it out, but each time noise goes away. Apply brakes and hear a squeak sound from inside of car?????
Any feedback, brakes were checked.

Does it only happen in the morning, after the car has been parked outside?

 

My civic does this too. Every time I apply the brakes and then lift off the pedal, there is a quick little squeak. I haven't narrowed down what it is yet, but to me it sounds like it's coming from the rear drums, for whatever that's worth.
