Background: Honda civic EP3 with K24 (Acura TSX) -- driven several thousand miles with no issues however as of late, I can start the car but it shuts down when I let go of the gas. Doing a search, people have suggested dirty throttle body and/or dirty IVAC. I posted a vid of my car struggling (see below). Note I have cleaned the throttle:

check mechanical timing and if it's ok then check compression

 

I don't have a timing gun to check the timing. And when I google'd symptoms of bad timing, examples were pinging and backfiring, which are neither of my car's symptoms. (Source: The Proper Way to Adjust Timing - wikiHow )

We tried unplugging to the MAC sensor to see if it would help the car start and stay on, but still the engine shuts off after letting go of the gas. I plan to have a mechanic stop by the casa to give his 2cents. I'll still need to get the IVAC off and cleaned.

 

I was putting everything back (After wiping down the throttle body and IAVC, and replacing one of the spark plugs and one of the coil packs). I had one tube remaining that I don't know where it goes. See pic (circled in red). It is attached to the RBC intake manifold. Where do you think it might go?

Everything looks attached (throttle body, intake, etc) except this one tube, and this tube has electrical tape at the edge of it so I assume it goes to something.
