I have acquired a k-series engine

Engine code is K20A-2342281

I have no info about the source vehicle the engine came out off .

The engine has a silver rocker cover , so I am assuming its not type - r spec

How do i work out whether the engine is a k20a2 (200 hp) or k20a3 (160 hp) , without tearing down the motor and measuring internals?

 

You need to know from what chassis the engine came from. If you don't know that.... .

Start knowing what you get...before you actually get it.
