As title states...
Is there a difference between rear trailing arms from 1997 ITR to the 98-01 ITR??
97 Trailing arm # is - 52371-ST7-R00
98-01 Trailing arm # is - 52371-ST7-R02
From what I have found it looks like all RTA for Integra from 94-01 use same arm, but I assume that is for standard models.... Can anyone confirm??
Thanks

I'll add what I can. Don't know if this will help.
The 88-00 Civic and 94-01 Integra have an "interchangable" trailing arm. (The 90-93 integra has a bigger hole for the RTA bushings but dimensionally similar.) The Civic ones typically don't have undercoating. Ever look? Some of those Integra arms have what looks like rubberized undercoating on them both for noise and a mild rust/salt protector.
As for the ITR, depending on where you look, some places will only sell the trailing arm with the spindle already bolted in. The ITR has a spindle with an outer shaft thats slightly longer (the 5x114.3 hub has a longer bearing so Honda extended the spindle shaft.) This means with the spindle attached, there are different part numbers, including the 96 4 bolt ITR which may have its own shaft length, I forget the length of the bearing in that hub.
Furthermore, the spindle IS removable from the trailing arm with the 24mm nut and the T50 torx bolts. SOME have blue loctite on them, some do not. This adds another potential other part number. Remember that sometimes one year Honda changes something even on the body of the car which is tiny, like the size or exact location of the original hardrubber insulate on the floorboards (the stuff people who track race remove with dry ice)
My guess is that as Honda get's very picky about weight, the ITR trailing arm may not have sound dampening, or at least a little less on the ITR arm. Also. If the trailing arm comes with the RTA bushing in it, I'm not positive if the 98-01 Model had a change in ride height, Honda may have 'clocked' the bushing just a hair from the factory.

I just received the last LEFT RTA available for the '97 part number....
I ordered a RIGHT RTA with the 98-01 part number. Will inspect and share differences when the 98-01 arrives.
