No start
We got a 91 civic used, ran good once we put some clean gas in it, two days later it won't turn over. all the cluster light come on but it doesn't even try to turn over. pulled the starter, tested bad, got a new one put it in same result.
It's getting gas, just no crank. Pushed it with the quad and popped the clutch yesterday and ran it for a while. Found out that the replacement starter was bad had the newest one tested before we left the store but still nothing. Going to test all fuses again tonight and see if maybe we missed one.
So the Clutch Start Switch? Odds are the rubber bumper that presses it in when you mash the clutch in has crumbled. Sounds like you just need to put a new rubber bumper in. Go to your local parts store and grab Dorman part# 45393. Its a bumper assortment and one of the ones in there work perfect.
