What is the engine code for that years motor? Do the valve covers work with any other engines?

but the D16A is not the DOHC right? What year were the integras with the DOHC engines? Not B18A or B18B, the model before them.

all of the usdm integra's are DOHC

90-93 B18A1
92-93 B17A1 (GS-R only)
94-01 B18B1
94-01 B18C1 (GS-R only)

they're all DOHC

yes.
there are 2 types of zc engines.

zc sohc vtec and zc dohc.

The 86-89 Integra motors are lower compression DOHC ZC motors. I had one, it was slow. Its like putting a LS head on a B16A block, no torque and no top end. But it makes a good daily driver...
