Default name this chassis:

so I removed the blue "dog tag" from a JDM Integra front clip. It reads:

DC1-1002976
TYPE ZXi

I have an idea....but I'd like to hear what you foos call this chassis and trim model of the long lived Integra chassis. Gimme a year too


oh...you interested in it? I dont need it.

It is as the badge says a DC1 which is the same shape as the DC2. The ZXi is a SOHC PGMFI ZC engine with about 120hp. Other DC1 was a ZX which has Dual Carbs and about 105hp. Year would be 93-95. Both those DC1's were Japanese Domestic Market only.

the ZC was SOHC? Was there a DOHC ZC engine also? I thought there was...

yes ZC's came in both SOHC and DOHC, both had a D-series engine designation. I believe the 1st gen USDM Integras had a ZC engine, I know it was a DOHC D16.

Technically, no, the engine was still marked as a D16A1 or D16A3, which is basically the USDM equivalent of a ZC with less HP, 128 to 118 i believe. The ZC is a direct bolt-in replacement for a D16A1/3 though... so yes and no

woo hoo!

yeah i saw this and thought...4wd teggy! would have been nice to have had the entire car, not just the rad support.

btw that dc1 chasis, was available through 00 model. 96+ recived the sohc vtec motor.and yes they had the famous jdm front end too. they had no ls in the dc chasis. in jdm land. only sohc, or dohc vtec. only the 4dr model recieved the ls motor.

corect me if i'm wrong
