sqealing noise

My car squeals when I accelerate my car. Only when I first accelerate then it stops and stops doing it completely after about 5 to 10 minutes. What could this be and what would it cost to fix it?

probably a loose belt - maybe the alternator belt? - try tightening the belt - won't cost you anything if you do it yourself

Does it do it on cold start in the morning?
Most likely a loose belt.
