has anyone here swapped there tranny out for the jdm 4.7 final drive? if so how did you like it?
i plan on getting the 98+ motor and tranny from hmo but i just don't like the fact that it has the gsr 4th and 5th gears..

 

I have the oem honda 4.7 FD kit that I'm going to put in my usdm itr Trans. That way I will have the shorter FD as well as shorter 4th and 5th usdm gears. Should be perfect.

 

yes that's what i would of liked.. where did you get that kit?

 

I have a 4.785 final drive setup avail for purchase.....all oem....with jdm first gear and needle bearings etc....everything you need

 

I'm running the OEM JDM 4.7 fd transmission in my R. I don't mind the high rpms at high speeds. Still get good gas mileage too!

 

without the gsr 4th and 5th?
