Default lower timing belt plate and bolt tensioner.

Doing my TB, the lower bolt that holds the plate with spring closer to the firewall is strip. It appears that its being held just by the spring, I can pull out the blot without turning it. Can I just void the plate, bolt and spring? Don't want to come off and mangle my TB.
Thanks

Default Re: lower timing belt plate and bolt tensioner.

Your explanation isn't clear enough for me to understand what you are talking about, and I have done a timing belt on a 2000 honda accord 4 cyl. I suggest watching either Briansmobile1 or Nutzaboutbolts on YouTube do a Honda Accord timing belt. You could also pay about $30 and get a 1 year subscription to www.alldatadiy.com and get all of the dealer-level Honda maintenance, repair, parts etc. info on your specific make and model.
