Default No power in my AC compressor clutch wire

Hi everyone,

I have a 97 accord SE 4cyl coupe. I have no AC because the compressor clutch wont engage when the AC button is selected. I did some test and I noticed that there was no power in the compressor clutch red wire however the blue wire to the compressor had good ground. I have also checked the AC relay by switching it with the relay for the radiator fan and still no power shows up in the red wire. Everything led me to this question could it be that the ac switch has malfunctioned even though it lights up when depressed and not sending signal for the compressor to engage or maybe a burned out wire in the dash or somewhere along that line?

I forgot to mention that I also checked the under dash # 8 7.5 amp fuse and the 15 amp under dash fuse and all were ok.

Thanks in advance for you suggestions in remedying this problem. This is literally my introduction, as I am a new member to this forum.

check for continuity at the ac pressure switch, if no continuity you don't have enough refrigerant in the system = leak
