I run amber bulbs in my clearcorners (1157's, 194's), and they look great first the first month or so. . a dark, deep orange illuminated look.

But after a few months they get lighter and lighter.. and are essentially fading away.

Has anyone tried the advertised japanese 'NO FADE' version of the bulbs?

Alternatively, I'd like to switch to LED's.. but my experience w/ them so far are less than favourable.. (the ones I've used appear very weak and are no where as bright as conventional incandescent bulbs)
