Default Civic si issues

Hello guys I have a new DD car Civic 90' si with d16z2 engine or also known as d16a6 so I have some questions about the engine, so the engine oil consumption is noticable but the car doesn't smoke blue when I start it in the morning but it smokes whet I kick the pedal so I think I will have to rebuild the bottom, ok.But one my friends told me that when he is driving behind me and i start to accelerate on wide open throttle the car smokes black and there is an awful smell like burned oil but no blue smoke.Thinks that I have done to the engine is carbon pswjdm intake and 50mm exhaust with two resonators and back box exhaust and when a I opened the belt cover I noticed that someone is changed the the stock cam gear with an adjustable one.The car is not stock at all it has ceramic clutch and short ratio gears only 5th is longer and some other stuff like bigger brakes, braided brake lines and some other thinks from the sir version and the reason I'm telling you guys that is because maybe there are some other mods that I don't know about , the last owner told me that the car is full stock but he was and idiot. my question is why the hell the car run so reach and why there is that awful smell?Oo and the car is with small radiator from EG and have small boost meter installed into the cluster.
sorry for my english

Black smoke, especially at WOT, is usually fuel from running rich. If there is a cam-gear, then there is probably some other mods done to add fuel (injectors, pressure regulator, ECU chipping).

For the consumption issue, I would consider swapping out the valve-stem seals 1st. It's cheap and can be done with the head still on. All you need is the lisle valve keeper tool set (use the smaller of the two) and an air-compressor set to 40psi.

Here is a link to the tool. You can buy the two halves of the smaller tool separately if you are tight on funds. Part numbers can be found and purchased via google.
