Does the 97" accord cassette radio need a code? My radio lights come on but the unit don't work.

 

If the car has the factory HONDA labeled radio and when you turn it on it says CODE then you will need the code.
To get the code you will need the serial number from the radio(label is on case, you will need to remove radio), call Honda of America, update new owner info, give them the serial number to your radio and they will give you the radio code.
