hey guys I've spent my time looking this up and couldn't find anything, I've seen similar issues but none like mine, I have a 98 civic dx with a d16y7 I swapped in after the last one went out and I don't know if I wired something incorrectly but my CEL is on and the car drivers perfectly fine until I'm waiting at a stop light and if I'm waiting long enough about 30 second my idle surges to around 14 or 15 and I try to leave from the stop light and going from low rpm range in any gear applying a little gas the car jerks and acts as if it is redlining and won't let me go any faster unless I stomp the gas passed that wierd range has anyone encountered this or knows what this is if I turn the key of and on the idle re settles until I'm at another stop light

The code told me it was my iac and I replaced that and had the same issue

The two wire plugs and the 3 wire plugs are all physically the same. You have to check the wire colors to make sure they are plugged into the right things.
