tubular lower control arm
the competition engineering unit anyone used these before Ive only had one person tell me about this product and it wasnt good anyone else have any feedback ? thanks-pdang

We broke our set shifting from 2nd to 3rd at MIR at the end of July. The crash set us back the rest of the year. All Moroso could say was no one broke them...lol I already knew of others that broke them. The problem with the control arms is:
1) very poor penetration on the welds(cheap labor)
2) see above
3) should of been made of a larger diameter tube
Moroso did replace the units.....We did remove the powder coat and inspect the welds.....then we went over the welds and gusset plated the arms. But since the crash our fuel management system was damaged due to the shock of hitting the pavement at over 100 mph, we have been rebuilding and havent gotten a good pass on the track at full power since. But with our hard launches that we did get in, the arms didnt break. 30psi with 150shot of NX out of the hole = 646ft tq

I trust them more than before..(after I fixed them)....but thats racing. The only thing that got hurt was my pride. The car Launched with its best 60ft a 1.48 , then broke before the 1/8 mile. Our 1/8 mile was impressive! 7.83 at 100mph! lol the car didnt stop until the 1100ft mark. People that have seen the car run prior to the accident knew we were uncontrollable. The car had 24" slicks, ran only 20psi and had a brand new CM twin disc that slipped like hell. The car ran a 10.1 at 140 at E-town back and forth in the lane. After Georgia and a broken and burnt up CM clutch, we switched to a Tilton CC, 28 " Goodyears and turned the boost up to 30psi. Thats when we had our accident with the control arms breaking. Hopefully this winter we will be able to get rid of the bugs for next year. At least we are not breaking trannys.
