That looks weird. Do this: turn the key from "off," through "Accessory" to "Run" (Position II) and leave it there- don't go to start. Those dash lights should all come on and then turn off. You should also hear the fuel pump in the tank kick on, and then shut off. Do the dash lights all turn back off?

Bingo - that is what these things will do when the battery has low voltage......left the dome light on in my 07 Pilot a few weeks ago, came out to start the car. Acted/did exactly what yours is doing. Was in a hurry, so I just grabbed the jump pack from the garage and jumped started it. Been fine ever since.....yes I turned the dome light off

Thank you i will give it a charge and see what happens.

I tried the first idea and it did not work
I am sorry to say this, but I am afraid, the way it sounds, that there is something broken inside the engine. It is going too fast which indicates no compression. You should take the timing belt cover off and see if the timing belt is broken. You can watch YouTube videos from guys like Briansmobile1 to see how to get the timing belt cover off- you have to remove the valve cover. Honestly, if it was me I would probably have a mechanic look at it to diagnose the problem if it isn't the timing belt. Even if it is the timing belt, these cars have interference engines, and if the timing belt broke, then the pistons probably slammed into the valves and bent or broke a bunch of stuff, so replacing a broken timing belt may not solve the problem. So, I would really have a mechanic look at it and measure the compression on the cylinders.

Since I'm new I can't post a new thread but I have been having trouble with my 2000 accord. When I put the key in it won't show the key reader and the check engine light won't come on unless i hit the steering wheel. Anyone have any thought on what it could be?
