96 integra ls won't start... Checked for spark and new plugs but what else....

96 integra ls won't start... Checked for spark and new plugs but what else....
I pulled old plugs out then put then back in but then it wouldn't start... But when I put new plugs in the car didn't start.. I gapped the plugs by eye because I didn't have time but do you guys think gapping will cause it not to start because it wouldn't start for the original plugs
