Flashing Engine light
I was just on my way home today from picking up some parts for my motorcycle and noticed that the first stop light I came to my car had a flashing engine light on. The symptoms seem to be a pretty loud snapping sound at idle and it does not get any louder with revs. The car is a 1999 Honda Accord Ex v6. It had no issues beforehand and just started up with a problem which makes me very suspicious as to what it could be.
A flashing CEL is going to mean you have a dead miss on a cylinder. Hopefully you don't get a P0600 random misfire. If you get a P0601(-6) the last digit is the cylinder number with the misfire.
