Default would boosting a k20 rsx be similar to b series?

I know the engine is backwards in the k20a but would it be a similar difficulty as boosting a b series? would there be anything you need to do extra to the engine that you don't while boosting in the b series? just curious.

(turbocharging not supercharging)

i havent done any work on a k series but knowing the basics in mechanics there isnt a real difference between the two or any gas motor tbh.

Engine management is over twice as expensive, my biggest obstacle..

The K would actually be easier on just an engine-by-engine basis IMO - no need to worry about rods/pistons below about 350, and stock sleeves are good to 700+

Biggest factor on what makes things difficult is the chassis and what room/space you have to work with in the engine bay. Tight clearances are the worst.

^^This. K series are pretty stout in stock form. The downside is the cost/ difficulty to swap them into an older chassis. By the time you spend all the money/ effort getting the engine into another chassis, you could have just as easily spent it to beef up a B series. Then again, a K24 has 33% more displacement than a B18C so drivability and spool are also impacted - lots of things to consider IMO

As in room in the engine bay? More than likely. It's pretty much the basis of the exhaust manifold and turbo portions of the industry.

K series is more stout then a B series stock for stock. Your biggest obstacle is finding a good tuner that knows how to work with the cam angles correctly and getting all of it to fit.
