I have a '97 D16Y7 with hydraulically actuated 5 speed in it that has a pop out. I've been looking for a good EX/Si trans because of the better gear ratios for the type of around town and autoX driving I do. I found a '94 Si Hatch transmission for $150. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm pretty sure the trans. from those years are cable actuated.
I'm wondering if I can use this Si transmission easily, or if I'd be better off waiting to find a newer, hydraulic one that will be 100% bolt up.
