bleeding brakes on 1996 accord
Attempting to bleed brakes, but pedal does not move when bleeder valve is opened, even up to two turns. Can tell that calipers & wheel cylinders are functioning during pedal movement. Does car need to be running to provide power boost while bleeding?
No the car does not need to be running.
Pull the bleeder all the way out and inspect the "tiny" hole at the bottom to see if it is clogged.
Or, is this happening on all four wheels?

Removed bleeder screw- not clogged. No fluid flow even with screw removed, applying pressure to pedal. Never had this happen on any car in many years of doing brakes. Can anyone solve this mystery??
