It's not a Honda and it's not the fastest but my friend hit 11's for the first time in his All Motor Neon yesterday at Beech Bend.

It is the 2nd fastest all motor neon now, powered by a STOCK BLOCK 2.4 stratus block with r/t head.

wow, that def is imopressive for a stock motor, is the car stick or auto, because neons are notorious for going fast with a slushomatic, let me know, one of my neon friends is curious. and a for yer friend

 

It's a 5-speed. Yeah some of those neons are pretty quick with autos. A 3-speed at that! I know a few turbo guys run the autos and have some luck with them. Guess they hold up better than the honda slushboxes.

wow..brings back memories of my 1st car. a 95 neon sport sedan. Single cam stock as a rock 1st time driving it rac a 16.8 at BMS. I thought i owned the local import crowd..boy was i wrong. I honestly would have bought a 98 ACR if those things could hold a tranny. My cousin ran very close to 14s with just cams, pullys, intake, header, and ported IM. With 2.4 60fts.

I still have a dark like for those cars. There not nearly as bad as people say they are. Just those damn trannys. Memories

 

His car weighs slightly under 2000 lbs and around 210whp. He did more weight reduction and more power items since last time so it could be lighter and more powerful by now.

 

thats impressive, i believe the quickest all motor neon hit a 10.70 this season...man that is movin.
