hey i have a 1999 civic ex auto car but it i swapped a d16y7 engine into it and i plugged the y8 auto harness i have missing pplugs and i was wondering can i run a y7 5 speed computer with that style wire harness it has 4 plugs and my y7 computer oinly has 3 plugs please help me car running like butt

 

You need the type 'b' computer from a 1999 or 2000 automatic non-VTEC non HX Civic. The 1996 to 1998 systems are called OBDIIa instead of OBDIIb and have different plugs.

Also can't use manual computer in auto car.

With a non-VTEC computer just leave the VTEC solenoid plugs under the hood unplugged.
