srs light on, dealer can't diagnose
I took my wife's 2007 civic sedan to manly honda in Santa Rosa to have the srs light diagnosed along with some other issues but they said they couldnt diagnose it, still charged me $80.
I did the dlc cross 4 and 9 and got a code that I cant remember but I looked it up and figured the best bet would be to replace the srs module.
after replacing the module with a new part, the light is still on, I tried the paper clip MES trick and it wouldnt turn off at all.
read the code again and now it says "b1032 10"
What should I try next? I would feel much safer with working airbags.

The service advisor told me "The system is not communicating" and that the tech "checked some fuses" and that it would cost another $250 to continue diagnostics.
He said the same thing about a code that identified a faulty purge valve so I may have been hustled. I replaced the purge valve and reset that code and it has stayed off for over 1000 miles.
I saw a flow chart somewhere from searching the code I saw before that said to check some connections on a harness to ground and if it wasn't those connections, connect to a known working module and check again. Stupid me didn't write down the code so I can't find that chart anymore and didn't know what to check so I just replaced the module.

He couldn't pull the codes but he did pull a code that said you have a faulty purge valve ? Stop going to that piece of **** dealer with **** mechanics who want to get as much money out of you as possible without fixing anything.
Go on yelp and find a reputable mechanic that has good reviews and ask them if they can pull any and all codes for you.
