Default turn signal

my turn signals blink fast. Hazards work and flash normal speeds. Problem started when I replaced the drivers side tail light assembly and replaced both headlight assemblies. I replaced all four turn signal bulbs and now when I turn on the parking lights it blows a fuse. If I try the signals before I turn on the park lights they still blink fast. Uhg.

I'm guessing the turn signal bulbs were replaced with LED bulbs. Hyperflashing is when the turn signals blink faster than your stock incandescent bulbs did. This happens because your new LED bulbs draw such little power that your turn signal relay sees the bulbs as being out. A load resistor will fix the problem. Installing does require some minor wiring though.

i had this problem with my 02 honda civic, so it should relate to any honda with running lights and turn signals in one bulb. you need to reverse the 2 wires (not the black ground) in the socket to get correct functionality. that and or if there wedge bulbs since you didn't give us year, make, model, you need to remove some tabs inside as the LED's are wired differently and cause the factory config to blow fuses.

Do the new lights light up?

When using LED bulbs you would replace the blinker relay with one that is LED compatible-- it will flash at the correct rate even with the low current of LEDs.
