Default b18b1 swap ecu question.. confused

I have a 2000 b18b1 in a 99 civic, these are both obd2b and therefore i could not use the stock LS ecu because of the immobilizer. I'm wondering if I can get an obd2b to obd1 conversion harness and run a obd1 p75 with no issues, cel's don't matter i just want it to run right. Currently it has an auto crv ecu and idles up and down and runs really weird sometimes.

Do you have the obd2b manual P75, or just the PHK? If the engine is stock and you intend for it to stay that way, the immobilizer can be removed from the obd2b ecu. That would be the best option. If you intend to start modifying the engine, an obd1 ecu swap may be a good option for you. Don't buy cheap *** eBay generic/Yonaka/Blox/etc jumper harnesses, they are garbage. HA Motorsports, Boomslang, and a couple of others who escape my memory right now make excellent quality jumpers for just a bit more than the cheap ones and you won't have as many problems with them.

So say i bought a obd1 p75 with the obd2b to obd1 jumper (motor and harness are obd2b) is it just plug and play or would i have to run an obd1 harness and change the distributor and stuff? that's the part im confused about
