Need to know if there is something wrong with transmission or something else. Car makes sound sometimes like a bad wheel bearing but not all the time and it will do it even while driving straight. When the clunking sound is happening, if I take it out of gear to neutral it will stop. There is no pattern to the sound and I don't think it's as simple as a bad whee bearing. What else can it be?
