What are some good enhancements to get the most bang for my buck with the y7 non VTEC? I already got the ex exhaust swap, not looking to be the fastest or even race, just get it quicker then it is and have a reliable daily!

K&N drop in air filter.
Power steering and A/C removal but only if you don't care too much about driving comfort-ability.

There really isn't a cheap way to make it accelerate faster. Every option that will add over 15hp is close to or above $1000. An air intake will make it sound cooler, and an EX intake manifold conversion will have better air flow, but these won't make a truly noticeable increase in power.

If you plan to stick with this car (or other Hondas) for a while, invest in other places, in parts that can be interchangeable.

A short throw shifter is an incredible upgrade for a small amount of money, ~$60
Manual Short Shifter, Precision Shifter, Acura, Honda - B&M Transmissions, Shifters, Torque Converters, Diff Covers, Coolers

Of course, a nice coilover set completely changes the car!! (if you don't already have aftermarket stuff). Tires, bushings(!), sway bars..... they may not make the car faster, but they make it so you don't have to slow down as much haha!

They let dust in. Especially if you ever drive on dirt roads, do not use.
