Hi I have a 1995 and online they only have the targa top handles for sale that are pressed with an inner layer of metal where the handle is fitted onto the bolt. My bolts fit on the outer plastic grooves, not the inner smaller metal grooves! Vice grips dont work either! My bolts are bigger than the metal groove space. My previous broken handles have no metal pressed in the ridges. How do I remove the metal center from the handles to fit onto my bolts? Thank you in advance!

 

Remove the center Phillips head screw in the middle then repost results brother.
