Default Another P1399 thread!

Hey guys,

I have a 2000 civic dx 1.6dohc as my beater to work. It was 220k on it, and has always ran pretty well. It burns a little bit of oil, about a quart every 2 weeks. I was driving on the highway and it was running fine, the moment I hit a turn off it had started misfiring pretty bad but it was still drivable. Took it home and read the code, P1399 and P0141. I've had my catalictic converter removed for awhile because it was shot, and the second sensor hasn't been plugged in. Car ran fine until now, so I did my research and I'm at at a loss. Here's what I've done:

spark plugs
wires
coil
dizzy cap
valve adjustment to factory specs
swapped fuel injectors

compression is low on 3 and 4, reading 130 while 1 and 2 are at 150. Could it be a head gasket? I'm not loosing any coolant but the exhaust was smoking a tad white last while I started it after doing the valves.

Any input is appreciated!

Has the p1399 code gone away after all the things you replaced?
