Need help with F2D 98 EK
IM doing an f23a swap in my 98 civic sedan i was wanting to use my d series transmission as i just replaced the clutch. is it possible to just use the d series flywheel? or do i have to get a custom flywheel made, if so is it possible for someone to help point me in the right direction ? its really hard to find info on f2d swaps but ive read alot on h swaps and i know ill have to notch the block. i had read a plateless thread at one point but forgot to bookmark it, i cant find anyone selling h/f2d kits. bisi stopped years ago
Doesn't use a traditional flywheel unless you drill into the tranny and block to mate up. If you buy the kit you'll need to use a custom flywheel.
Do you happen to know where i can find the information on how to make a traditional flywheel work, i have 2 so 1 can be a practice run lol ? i suck at using google and this forum search for some reason, i dont know what keywords to put in or leave out to find the right info. thank you for responding and any help you may provide.
It was done for an H2B but you can see how they did it. I guess images don't work or I'm not seeing it

images are what i need most, ive read tons of h2bs and i know they are super similar to h2ds. i just want to see how everything is as well as having directions, that was actually one of my many bookmarked links for this build. thank you for your time
