rev limiter engine from hmo!
ok heres what happened i want it to check for vtec rite couldn't yet drive because of no insurance . So i picked up the front of the car put jack stands on it and put it in 2nd gear and slowly started to bring rpm's up. rpms went past 9,000 i know it might be off but 8200 suppose to be the limiter , anyway sorry about the dumb question 
but i'm lost, is it suppose to be that way or when you put weight on it then it cuts out at 8200, anyway any input is appriciated.

What year is the engine? I know the newer ones have the revlimiter kick it, and all it does it hit redline, come back down, then hit redline, and come back down over and over. But im sure it should have some type of revlimiter, unless some messed with the ecu.

i'm running a P30 stock i guess it has all of those freaking japanese letters on it and the only thing i can read is LSD sign on it any ideas anybody
