You all came through like champs on my first post about the strange bracket on my firewall. Well, I have a few more for you wizards.
Currently own a 93 Del Sol S (142K miles) and can't figure out what might be missing at the locations indicated in the attached pics. First one is a silly looking bracket sticking up near the firewall. Every one I've seen in the bone yard has nothing on it or even looks remotely like it has any use. Two is a pic of some mounting holes to the right of the silly flag staff bracket. What went there? Finally, the two holes on the front of the valve cover. Anyone know about these (or actually use them for something cool)?

From the pictures of del sol engine bays that Ive seen, that first bracket is part of the fuel filter bracket.I believe your second picture is where a stock car alarm was mounted. and the third one I dont think is used for anything

 

Isn't the third picture on the valve cover to hold the spark plug wire bracket/holders?

 

I don't think so. On that valve cover the spark plug holes are on the complete opposite side. I dont know what those are used for. Can everyone see the picture? .
