CRX is not holding battery charge,
AAA tested said the Alt tested at 9.5
the car ran for a little bit but then would stall and not start,,, can a car run on a dead battery if you pop the clutch ,? do I need a new Alternator? can you help me out ?

You probably need a new alternator. Swing by a Batteries Plus or Autozone and have them test the alternator. You can run a car on a dead battery, but your alternator has to be good. At 9.5 volts, you most likely need a new battery unless yours is less than a year old. Then it might come back.

 

 

they could not test at Autozone b/c they did not have the wires,,, so I bought a new alt
and charged the battery, started right up! Drove for a hour no Problem ,,,

any ideas where I can sell my Honda ?

most all parts are Lifetime warranty from Autozone and Passes Smog and Registered.

I don't get it. You you want to sell your car because you can't replace the alternator?
