93 Civic VX D15Z1 no start have fuel
so plugs get wet after enough cranking but no spark. new distributor.
took cap and rotor and plastic cover off.
positive screw is hot when key is on and isnt when cranking
any help would be nice

 

Pull the brake handle up, does the brake light come on when you turn the key on, and stay on while cranking-- it should. If it does not, the ignition switch is likely the problem.

 

so idk what happen but im losing spark in the cap and rotor. coil spring is live at 13v when key on and dropps to 10 when cranking

 

How big are the sparks you can get from the coil? They should be blue and able to jump more than 1/2 inch to a grounded test wire. If you only have little yellow sparks the coil is bad.

The coil is prone to blow from firing into an open circuit. Always hold a grounded test wire near the coil output when cranking to test for spark.

 

No spark but tested the yellow with green stripe wire and it's not flashing like it is supposed to.
Also as far as parking brake light it stays lit when cranking.

 

Guessing a grounded wire somewhere?

 

I had a 92 VX that didn't start one time, and it ended up being the main relay was bad.

 

Well I swapped out the p06 for my chipped p30 I had laying around and it started up.
