My wife wrecked our 94 accord. Once I put it all back together the windshield wipers come on with the ac and the fans work intermittently. I figured it was the wiring to the fan modules on the drivers side behind the bumpers. I replaced the plug and checked all the wiring and it's ok now. Funny thing is now if I plug the module from the wrecked car it's still that way. If I plug the ones in from the parts car nothing happens. Including no fans or ac. I now realize I may be dealing with multiple problems. Any help is appreciated.

 

I assume you don't have a check engine light. Sounds like you may have a ground problem. Watch Scotty Kilmer's YouTube videos "Fixing strange auto electrical problems " and "Finding the source of electrical shorts in your car" Also, in case he doesn't mention it, it is best to remove the negative terminal of your car's battery before working on any electronics (unplugging, plugging, removing ,etc.) so that you don't short something out unintentionally.

It just sounds like the donor car has a different module.
