i decided to take off early from work today. As I'm heading to the boat docks, i smell something burning. Hrm, prolly just some POS kaa near me. Then at the next light, smoke is coming from the h00d!!!

I was near a friend's house, so I pull up on his driveway and open the hood:
wtf is the bottle doing there?!?!


picked up the hot bottle and threw it on the ground and parts are missing

time to improvise



buttoned everything up and cleaned the engine bay while I was at it. j00 f00z can see the underside of the CF hood also (or is that CF? hrm...)

If you had the vacuum line and timing spec stickers under the hood, then it would look stock!

Looks very nice, too bad about the overflow can.
At least it wasn't anything serious.

fug, boat wouldn't take me back home b/c of the storm
so I went for a drive and I think I'm high off the plastic fumes

yshi - who just talked to EP and the m00gen mobile suffered it's first wreck. Bumper is trash and bent rear qtr panel. Still finished the qualifying race in 5th. Shawn won the race and glen cracked a rotor so he couldn't run

 

 

but, nice improvising yoh-she.. if it werent for me scanning the zeal manual you would never be able to do that

OMG, lol. I'm not laughing at you, but the exact same thing happened to me. My friend and I were looking under the hood of my car and he moved my coolant overthrow on my header exactly like that. 5 mins later I saw smoke coming from under my hood!!! we popped it and it was just melted on my header. my container looked exactly like yours. Good thing it wasn't anything else
