Greetings! I've had my Civic for a little over a year. I had never owned a Honda before but I love this little car. My car before this one was a BMW 5 Series. What a nightmare that was. I did a lot of work on it but it just got to be too much. The CEL was on when I bought this Civic and I guess I should've known better, but I've never had any trouble with sensors or cats before and the car was just too clean. Now I'm trying to figure out how to proceed. I'm not paying 900.00 for an OEM cat. I had someone scan it for codes but it was on the fly and I didn't take any notes. I think I should confirm exactly what codes I'm getting as it could be a sensor and not the cat, right? Thanks and I look forward to the forum.
