Try using the OEM gasket. Assuming it fit.
also, our 4 cyl eco box only have 1 header. Not header"s"..

Go to hondapartsnow.com or Honda parts unlimited and plug in your car info. It will pop up under exhaust.

Also, don't tighten the spring nuts down all the way like that. They are supposed to spring and you have the springs binding.

You need the proper bolt for the spring nut, it keeps the required space so the springs act as springs.

those are just bolts from a hardware store, if those were the oem ones they would stop at a certain length.

Did you have any difficulty installing those headers? I just purchased a full exhaust kit so i suppose the alignment issue you're facing isn't something ill be dealing with seeing how the CAT will be in the trash can when i am finished.

Because you cinched down the springs for the flex gasket you have bent the flange.

It's no longer flat and level and makes contact to the other flange.

That is going to cause you problems even though you fixed the springs by using the proper bolts.

that at one was for the axle back muffler was really bad leak.

I will try one of this days fix the cat downpipe later with the same donut gasket but this time I will use some clamps. Will see if not I'm about to take to the shop and welded or put the oem header back any suggestions?

I was going to say, you have to measure and see. You can't assume a stock part is going to fit an aftermarket part.

It took me about 4 tries to find the correct flex gasket for my aftermarket header. But once I did, I was golden.

4 tries ? Wow. Man. I'm asking because this little gasket cost me $20 OEM, aftermarket I know it's cheap. I will measure before put this one in there
