Default Help me with vtec pressure switch please

Hi I have a 2004 Civic ex with 197k miles and recently my vtec wasn't working and it was coding saying my variable valve pressure switch. I replaced that and didn't fix it then realized I just was about 2 quarts low on oil, that fixed it for a few weeks. Now my car is doing it again and I looked at the switch and there is oil on it. Now I'm no expert but there should NOT be oil on the plug correct? The part I replaced also seems to not have a snap to keep the plug in place which I believe my problem might be for no Vtec but my worry is there being oil there.

Just wanted to hear what people who are more knowledgeable in this area have to say. I just started a new job and have a lot of training and I need my relaible transportation back. Thanks for any feedback!
