I was driving my EG on t he highway and suddenly the rpm tacometer was bouncing jumping and felt like throttle etc was weird. lucky I made a left turn and started driving the rpm just bouncing like weird. an engine light came on. lucky I drove to a safe spot. I put my hazards on and no power but everything is on. weird. I checked the code I had Honda Code 15 Ignition output signal.
the only thing new on that car is the spark plug which is gapped to turbo specs. 0.32 btw this is a fresh engine build d15z1 w/ z6 head. also had an intermittently die on me before and no start following. but suddenly it started back up. now I have dangerously engine dies on me on highways.

its very dangerously especially when the stupid engine dies on me. need some help this is my daily too.

 

The jumping tach and intermittent dying tells me that something is up with your distributor. Any way you could swap it and see if that fixes it? I'll let the more experienced Honda guys chime in, but that would be my guess.
