So in my 1990 CRX I got this fully built B20 VTEC making 220 to the wheels at 9k. Currently running some POS short ram intake and needless to say she makes a lot more power with the hood off due to high engine bay air temps...

I do not think I can run just your average B series eBay CAI because of the intake size. Any of you guys have any recommendations on a CAI that will not be restrictive to the motor do to the 90mm throttle body?

Just recently got my own AC DC TIG welder so if I got to get custom it's all good!

FYI, This is a dry weather vehicle only so water ingestion will not be an issue.

Imo I would make a 3.5" or 4" intake arm and run a big proper fabrications velocity stack out your bumper

 

You're definitely gonna have to build something custom for a crx.

 

I'm trying to stay as sleeper as possible. So probably not gonna go with a velocity stack through the bumper but I gotta figure out something.

 

You could try to buy or build a bumper scoop like this depending on what bumper you have.
