Help please!

My driver side door was recently service by a collision shop. I just got the car last Friday. I noticed that the dome light is not coming on when a door is open. The dome light works and is on the right switch to come on when a door is open. Also, when I start the car or arm the alarm the door locks are not locking automatically anymore. I guessing that something on the driver side door wring might be causing all these issues. Can someone point me to the right direction.

I also noticed that the shop was messing with the alarm box on the driver side, I saw some wires sticking out when I got home. Everything seem to be plug in, so I just tucked it back in.

 

If you have an aftermarket car alarm, it is probably the problem. I have a 2000 SE and I do not have automatic door locks either. I have to push the button to get them to lock. In general squirrelly electronic problems are caused by grounding issues, meaning a ground wire may have been disconnected or is shorting to something it shouldn't, which could have happened when they were working on it. I would take it back to the collision shop and tell them to find the problem and fix it.
