So about 6 months ago I picked up a 00 Teg w/ ba miss in motor . No biggie since I had a 95 4dr that had a great motor. What I neglected to for see is the 1 sensor that can't be changed The Crank Position Sensor. So I got it all back together and it has a rough idle because of this. So my question is how can I remedy this to make it work and run smoothly? What can I do?

bypass it, or swap the oil pump from the original motor.

 

Thats it ? How does that get me passed the check engine light?

 

you didnt post any codes or specify that there was a cel.

 

Ok sorry it is giving me the cel for the crank position sensor ckf or cpf

 

Just bypass it.
