Stupid sensor problems on a 2000 teg LS
ok, my car after it warms up will idle at about 1200, then if it sets for a lil over a minute when it's warm.. it acts like it has a 1500 rpm rev limiter, you can revv it up.. but it decelerates as quick as it accelerates, but if you cut the car off and then back on it stops..???
I replaced the TPS (thought was the problem) but that didn't fix it.. could it be the MAP sensor?? if you have any sugggestions, or comments PLEASE help!!

With questions like that....maybe its time to take it to honda. CEL = Check Engine Light. Its a magical little light that can also tell you exactly what sensor is bad on your engine before you waste tons of money replacing them all in some random order.

I'll go ahead and give you this link incase you do have a CEL. You can jump it with a paper clip or just take it to autozone and they will scan it for you (96+ on the autozone deal). Also, nothing will show up if the light isnt on.

nah.. it's not throwing a trouble code or anything, just idleing weird... their is only 1 other sensor on the throttle body (MAP), then some sort of sending unit.. I have no idea what it is.. but it's annoying.. thanks for all your help
