H22a swap in 93' coupe dx??????

Icon5 H22a swap in 93' coupe dx??????

What transmission and what car (accord civic year specific) should I keep my eyes open for when I start doing my H22a swap?

All 92-01 H22, H23, F20, F22 transmissions are interchangeable except the SH. H22 SH block will only fit the SH trans with the ATTS unit unless you fabricate an intermediate shaft adapter plate to mate any other trans to a SH block. That's the route I took. I can post pics if you like. Hope that'll help in your decision.

I am staying D15b7 and boosting it this summer. I decided to not buy the motor I got a better deal with a turbo kit with everything including a chipped P28 with a basemap for y7 for boost, and plx wideband, and 440 RC's

A turbo D15 on 7 or 8psi is going to put down less power than a stock H22. Are you looking for power or a good deal? Last time I dyno'd a D15b7 it put down 85 HP to the wheels. Best case scenario on 10psi you'll maybe hit 190 HP to the wheels. Do the H22 swap you'll have that plus about 50 more ft lbs of tq. Either way good luck with you decision. Too each, his own.

yeah just looking for a cheap build nothing crazy.. my trans does slip a little bit on the higher rpms, I know where I can find a zc trans for 100.00
