Can you lift your ek civic using crv suspension?
I've been looking around trying to find options for this and I was wondering since the 96-00 civics and 97-01 cross share the same platform if the suspension and other mods are the same or similar?
Like I saw that you can replace the civic front suspension for crv 5 lug etc, but what about the rear? Will using crv rear trailing arms and fellow mods work?
I honestly prefer how the crvs look when they're dropped vs the stock height of civics, but I'd rather not drive am suv.

The crv trailing arm is much bigger than the civic trailing arm, but I don't need an oem civic fit. For instance if the crv trailing arm, since it's longer, sits a different angle to compensate for length thus raising the car that'd be great. It should also mean, hypothetically that when lowered, it would sit like a lower crv.
The trailing arm is only important because the goal of this question was to see if removing oem civic suspension parts and replacing them with crv parts would suffice. I wasn't sure what to call this other than "suspension " but if you guys could coin the car term that involves this it'd be appreciated.
I'm currently doing a j swap and as much as I love it, the closer I get to finishing the more I think about the wheel spin I'm about to have to deal with.
So I guess you could say im having regrets lol. But I'm gonna finish it and if I don't like the end result then this is the next idea, something awd hopefully.
Most people here slam their cars or have a moderate drop. Personally I dislike how low my civic sits now, stock height, also the oil pan is pretty damn close to the ground because of the j swap.
I like how lowered crvs look. But I want a civic body there instead
So if crv parts, trailing arm, struts, hubs all fit with minor modification

Well thats not what you OP says now does it. Your question was "Can you lift your ek civic using crv suspension?" LIFT
NOW the thread is about using crv 5 lug in a civic. Create a proper thread with the exact questions you need answered.

It'd be great if you could actually read responses rather than jump to conclusions and read none.
Only one person in this thread answered the question, but I had more questions. Are you implying that I should open up new threads for every single question I have?
If you would have read you would have saw that I didn't know exactly how to coin what I wanted. I'm pretty sure I even ASKED for someone to correct me, but did you? Struts and Springs work. Great. Now what else works?
I asked about the real trailing arm because from my understanding, and you would have understood too if you had read, it's a part of the suspension system. What the hell do Springs, struts, and **** sit on? Thin air? Please coin the correct car term if you have a problem so I know what to call it.
If the rear trailing arm doesn't fit, then nothing else fits including the lower control arm etc. What I essentially want to do is swap the entire crv suspension, like literally take the entire system, the arm, the strut, the spring, the knuckle, and swap it over.
From what I've read, the front is pretty much a straight swap. The rear is a different story. I've read I have to either get accord 5 lug disk brakes or ITR brakes to make a full 5 lug conversion iirc.
I mean, how stupid would it be to have a crv front end that's 5 lug and 4 lugs on the rear. Connect the dots man.

Rear trailing arm does not connect to the struts/shocks, the struts/shocks sit on the lca...maybe its you who need to look at the parts diagram.
OP I edited your last post to remove the profanity in the interest of keeping this PG. That and I'm not sure such harsh language was really warranted.
In regards to what you're trying to do I would look closely at a FWD CR-V, these exist but are much less common (they didn't even bother to sell them up here in Canada) From what I can see there's a good chance it will work but ultimately you're going to have to get under one and take some measurements, make an educated guess as whether or not it's going to fit based on those measurements, and then actually try it.

Answer to the question - NO, the suspension is completely different in the back, the struts on the Civic have forks at the bottom which grip the outside of the control arms while the CR-V struts sit inside of the control arms.
If you want to lift a Civic, you can buy top hat spacers or make your own from delrin blocks, but be forewarned, your front axles will sit at the wrong angle which will decrease their lifespan and your alignment will never be correct.
