Default Automatic Transmission Question

I will be going to get a transmission this afternoon to replace mine. The transmission is out of a 96 and will be going into a 2000 EX Coupe. It's the regular auto, NOT the CVT. Will this bolt up and work with no issues? Same engine, D16Y8.

Thanks.

It better be from the same make/model or you're screwed.

Transmission should have a stamping on it just like the engine. There is a model number there for EXAMPLE ONLY: B4RA

Find out the model # of your trans and make sure the new one matches. No problemo then.
